Session Title |
Impact of JI to Standardized Patient
Care Services |
|
Session Abstract |
VMMC has been on a Lean Journey since
2002. We have continued to develop skill in
understanding our processes and in prescribing
kaizen to improve these processes. As we cycled
back through to layer on the "next" improvements
it became apparent that we were experiencing
difficulty in implementing and sustaining the
improvements envisioned by the workshop teams.
There was a lack of standard work. The addition
of Job Instruction Methods as part of our VMPS
Toolkit is addressing this gap. |
