Session Title

Creativity — the Kaizen Way

Session Abstract

So you think you're not creative? Guess again. Every human being is creative—as children our imaginations are rich but we tend to loose it as we get older. Incrementally, little by little, we loose confidence in our creative talents and passions.

Whether you're writing a novel or bringing a painting to life or strumming the strings to your guitar, we all engage in the creative process whether we are aware of it or not. The principles that artists or creative professionals use to create are the same principles that you can use when thinking up ideas for improvement, searching for problem solutions, or finding ways to express Key Points.

In this active and fun session, you will engage in exercises that cut through creative blocks and help you reconnect with your own innate abilities at creative thinking. You will do what the "real artists" do when they are blocked and realize that, in the creative realm, we are all the same no matter what our field or profession. Continuous improvement (kaizen) means generating ideas on a regular basis and this session will show you the way to creating and maintaining a continuous flow of creative energy.
